It’s official… We’re registered for the Rumble on the Range 2020 charity ride that will take place this next Saturday, August 22, 2020. The ride is Hosted by the Amarillo Elks BPOE Lodge #923 and all proceeds go to support Rainbow Room located at CPS and distributes emergency items to children and families in crisis situations.
So we’ve been informed, the ride starts and Tripp’s Harley-Davidson on I-40, goes to Clarendon, then Turkey, Quitaque, then up Hwy 207 to a road-side rest area colloquially know as Lookout Point ending at Smokey Joe’s on 6th St. – old Route 66 in Amarillo.

We made this ride in 2017, but the route was completely different then. We went out Boy’s Ranch Road to Hwy 385 then up to Dalhart, then Dumas, Borger and back to Amarillo. Oh, and the ride was called Ramble Across the Panhandle back then. Lora did not yet have her Spyder then, so we rode double. This year will be the first time she’s ridden her own bike on the run.
Wish us luck and safety and I’ll let you know more after the run next Saturday.
